"Broken bones bring along edema or swelling (...) and the displacement of the bones produce a bleeding which is called a hemorrhage. This would manifest as a swelling of the nose in the face of anyone with a fracture" explained the doctor
The opposition's deputy Maria Corina Machado assured she suffered serious injuries after the violence that started parliamentarians of the right wing in the National Assembly during the session last Tuesday, April 30. However, it is very strange that someone who claims to have fractures in the nasal region does not show the proper characteristics of the injury, said Dr. Felipe Guzman in an interview for Radio Nacional de Venezuela (RNV).
"Broken bones bring along edema or swelling (...) and the displacement of the bones produce a bleeding which is called a hemorrhage. This would manifest as a swelling of the nose in the face of anyone with a fracture" explained the doctor
Other symptoms that Deputy Machado does not show -as exposed Guzman- are nasal congestion, resulting from the hemorrhage and the swelling because of a hit, which would bring a decrease or alteration of her voice's tone.
In her statements of April 30, not her face nor her voice belonged to someone with a broken nose, it looks like it is a new episode of deception with a wide coverage of the right wing's communication businesses to hide whoever generate violence acts.
